Singer Pius Mayanja, popularly known as Pallaso, spent Tuesday morning sweeping the streets of Masaka in apology for turning up late for a concert on Monday night.

On Monday, Team Good Music singer Pallaso was supposed to perform at a concert at Maria Flo Hotel in Masaka.

After all featured local stars had finished their performances, revelers who had paid their money with excitement of watching the headlining act’s performance demanded the organizers to produce the singer on stage. However, Pallaso was no-where to be seen which angered the crowd that turned chaotic.

Pallaso later showed up at 2am, but they were not ready to let him sing. It was after negotiations and deep conversations with the organisers, it was resolved that he would perform the next day.

To apologise for his act, Pallaso gathered a few of his friends and subjected himself to community work. They swept some of the streets in the Masaka center as they interacted with the locals.

Pallaso further issued his apology on social media through a series of posts and asked for his fans to forgive him.

MC Casmir, real name Mukisa Kimenyi was on Wednesday 9th February, 2022, filmed in a video after he was allegedly found red-handed having sex with another man’s wife. In a video that made rounds on social media & got tongues wagging, MC Casmir is seen handcuffed and pleading for mercy from an unidentified man.

Casmir admitted to have had sex with the woman before saying, “Yes! I am sorry.” The woman as well confirmed having engaged in a sex act with the MC.

In a statement he made through his Facebook post moments after the video of his cheating scandal leaked, MC Casmir has vowed to bring whoever was involved in humiliating him to justice.

He condemned the officers for turning his bedroom into a crime scene, a move that has since embarrassed him and family. MC Casmir went ahead and thanked everyone that has stood by him through the tough times he is going through.

A number of Ugandan media personalities have also showed their disappointment in Uganda Police after its officers recorded a video demanding an apology from the TV presenter MC Casmir for engaging in sexual practices with a married woman. They claim that the two adults’ in the video were embarrassed by police and their privacy rights were violated. 

Casmir’s saga remains a heated debate both on social media and public domain with different opinions landed with many people arguing that he didn’t commit any crime by having sex with a married woman and the police shouldn’t have been involved.

According to the Ugandan constitution, after Uganda’s Constitutional Court scrapped the law against adultery in 2007 when feminists argued that it was discriminatory against women. Even though adultery is no longer an offense, different cultural and religious institutions have varying punishments for individuals caught cheating.

Musician Mikie Wine born Mukwaya Michael, 31 has come out to strongly deny accusations of betraying his brother, Bobi Wine(Robert Kyagulanyi); the NUP president.

His visit to Pastor Aloysious Bugingo’s House of Prayer Ministries Church was viewed by a number of NUP supporters as a betrayal of his elder brother as Pastor Bugingo attacked Bobi Wine and his party National Unity Platform – NUP for months. However, Mikie Wine visited his church and staged an amazing performance.

Many were seen on social media hurling insults at him accusing him of being a traitor who eats with their enemy. He said he used the great opportunity to preach about NUP.

During an exclusive interview on a local Television station yesterday evening, Mikie spoke about his visit and explained that he was taken to the church by Levixone with whom they have a collabo. “Levixone called me and said that Bugingo invited him to his church. He told me there was going to be many people so it was going to be an opportunity for me to sing for them,” Mikie Wine narrated.

“I sang for them and told them about my brother Bobi Wine and NUP. We have to represent the struggle wherever we go and those people needed to also hear our message. I wanted to take ghetto to church just the way Bobi took it to Parliament. Church people also needed to see someone from the ghetto who has become successful so they can get inspired,” He explained.

 “I thought Bugingo wasn’t going to allow me to step on the stage even. You can abuse me on TV but when we meet and you see how I’m a positive person, you change your mind,” He said.

 Mikie Wine collaborated with Levixone on a gospel song dubbed, “Guno Omwaka” and it is receiving fair airplay.

Mikie assured Ugandans that he is still a staunch NUP member.

Singer Bruno K, real names Bruno Kigundu has come out to give a piece of outrageous advice to fellow men reminding them to mind about the women they are going to have children with.

According to Bruno K broke women have many tricks to tempt men into making them pregnant so that they can be an eternal problem to such men as they demand for money in the name of “Child support”.

“Please men avoid sleeping with unemployed women because you will get her pregnant and suffer with her forever. Those unemployed women have so many tricks,” said the singer in an interview with a local television.

“She will say she is allergic to condoms and you will also buy her lie that’s where everything starts. Remember after having a child with her she will forever be in your life you will look after her and the child the entire of your life,” Bruno K sounded the warning.

Bruno K has always echoed his distaste over unemployed women who depend on men for all their survival and he has always taken a strong stand against women who ask for transport money when going to visit their boyfriends.

Bruno K is a single father of one, who recently lost the baby mama to a strange disease.

Singer Chris Brown has been sued by a model for rape in California.

The victim only identified in court papers as Jane Doe is a choreographer, dancer, model and musical artist who claims the R&B star drugged her and attacked her on a yacht at rap mogul Diddy’s Florida home on December 30, 2020.

According to the civil suit, the victim is demanding $20 million in damages saying the drink he offered her there made her feel “disoriented (and) physically unstable.” The filing also says Chris Brown led her into a bedroom where, despite her protests, he raped her.

“The traumatic events that Plaintiff Jane Doe experienced shock the conscience and should horrify all of us,” says the suit, filed in Los Angeles.

Accordingly, Plaintiff Jane Doe brings this complaint seeking justice for herself (and also with the hope it may serve as an example for others) who may now or have in the past found themselves at the mercy of Defendant Chris Brown.

Lawyers Ariel Mitchell and George Vrabeck say their client did not immediately report the alleged attack to the police because she was embarrassed.

Chris Brown took a suspense-filled post to Instagram after news of the suit broke. “Whenever I’m releasing music or projects ‘THEY’ try to pull some real bullshit,” he wrote.

However, Chris Brown does not specify who the “they” are.

The singer has been previously accused of raping a woman in a luxury Paris hotel. A claim he denied and was not charged.

Legendary singer Judith Babirye has emotionally come out and apologized to all Ugandans for the bitter scandles she has been involved in for the past few years especially her second marriage.

In a video she posted on her Instagram account, the Canada-based gospel singer turned politician Judith Babirye gave heart-warming words and apologized to Lukia Ntale, the legitimate wife to Paul Sebulime, Ugandans and God.

In 2005, Judith Babirye married Samuel Niwo and they became parents of one daughter in 2006 before they separated in 2009. In January 2017, the former Buikwe District Woman Member of Parliament Babirye filed for divorce before getting married to Paul Musoke Ssebulime in 2018.

In December 2018, Sebulime filed for divorce. According to court documents, Ssebulime testified that he had not seen or heard from Babirye for several months. He cited not knowing of his wife’s whereabouts for seven months before petitioning court. Ssebulime also accused Babirye of denying him conjugal rights and the two have since divorced.

Judith Babirye’s apology has been well received by several Ugandans saying to error is human as some even called her to return to her home country.

Meanwhile, we await Lukia’s response to this apology.

The Kenya music fraternity are mourning renowned spinmaster, DJ Lithium, born Alex Nderi who committed suicide yesterday at his workplace in Nairobi.

It is reported that the celebrated DJ pulled down his social media accounts and wrote a suicide note which partly said “I’m gone”, before taking the poison.

Ndyeri’s colleagues at work found him unconscious minutes after he had digested the poison. They called for help and he was taken to Nairobi Hospital where efforts to save his life became futile and he passed on.
