110 confirmed into Anglican Faith
The Bishop of West Ankole Diocese, Rt. Rev. Johnson Twinomujuni has urged Christians to strike a balance between work and prayer to foster spiritual and financial growth. The prelate delivered this message during the confirmation service of 110 believers into the Anglican faith held at Kashenyi Playground in Ishaka Municipality, Bushenyi District.
Addressing the congregation, Bishop Twinomujuni emphasized that while prayer is vital, it should not replace the importance of hard work. He pointed out that God blesses the efforts of one’s hands underscoring the need for believers to dedicate time to both prayer and diligent work to achieve holistic development.
During the same event, the Bishop’s wife, Maama Joy Twinomujuni highlighted the consequences of neglecting work, stating that a lack of effort has led to numerous family challenges. She urged all attendees to focus on work as the best strategy to combat poverty and improve family welfare.
The confirmation service marked a significant spiritual milestone for the new members and reinforced the church’s message of balancing faith with responsible work ethic for personal and community development.
