Man, 30, shot dead in Kazo Town council
Police in Kazo district are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of Allan Mugisha, 30 a resident of Bwesirabo cell, Kazo Central Ward, Kazo Town Council. Mugisha was found dead alongside the Kazo-Rushere road with reports indicating he was shot by a bullet.
According to eyewitness accounts, Mugisha’s body was discovered lying on the roadside prompting immediate concern among residents and family members. The family has called on the relevant authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Sources suggest that Mugisha was allegedly shot by a security guard employed by Uganda Electricity Distribution Company Limited, Kazo branch. However, authorities are yet to release an official statement confirming the details of the incident.
Family members and community leaders have expressed shock and are urging law enforcement to establish the true cause of the tragedy. “We want justice for Allan. We need to know why and how this happened,” said a family representative.
