Police Investigate Murder in Sheema District

Police in Sheema District are investigating a murder case involving strangulation that occurred yesterday in Kahama cell, Rushozi ward, Kabwohe Division.

According to Apollo Tayebwa, the Acting Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson, the victim has been identified as 67-year-old Jane Tindimubona a resident of the area. Preliminary reports indicate that an unidentified man whose face was covered was seen by a family member choking the deceased inside her home before fleeing the scene.

The police have recovered the body and transported it to Kabwohe Health Centre IV for a post-mortem examination. Authorities have launched investigations to identify and apprehend the suspect. More details will be released as the inquiry continues.
