St.Kaggwa-Bushenyi accident leaves one injured
Police in Bushenyi district are investigating an accident that occurred on April 2, 2025, at St. Kaggwa in the Central Division of Bushenyi-Ishaka municipality, leaving one person injured.
The accident involved a silver Toyota Premio registration number UBG 945Q and a red Bajaj Boxer motorcycle registration number UFC 060E.
According to reports, on Tuesday at around 2:00 PM, the motor vehicle was traveling from Ishaka to Bushenyi when the motorcycle made an abrupt U-turn in front of it. The motorcycle was struck by the rear tire of the Toyota, resulting in damage to the car’s right headlamp.
Martial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi police spokesperson, confirmed the incident and stated that the motorcycle rider was rushed to an undisclosed hospital. Details regarding the rider’s identity have not been established at this time.
Police are assessing the situation and indicated that the cause of the accident appears to be reckless driving.
