Kazo: 25 year old beaten to death over UGX 40,000

Police in Kazo are hunting for thugs who beat a 25 year old man identified as Muhangi Pauson leading to his death.
It is alleged that Pauson who has been a casual labourer in Kaikoti Village, Kijuma Parish, Rwemikoma Sub-County in Kazo district met the thugs who attacked and beat him badly and stole his money amounting to UGX 40,000 as he was from Nyamirima Trading Centre in a nearby Village.
His stepmother, Begura Flavia told Kazo FM that her son told her of all that had happened to him citing severe pain in the head region, chest and the back.
It is said that on Tuesday, he was taken to to Kijuma HCII for Treatment but his condition continued to deteriorate until his death on Thursday morning.
Police from Kazo Police Station visited the crime scene, and investigations into the matter have already commenced.
The deceased’s body has been taken to Kazo Health Centre IV for Autopsy and the murder case has been registered under file number SD REF 03/05/2022.
