RDC Nuwagira Vows to Crack Down PDM Funds’ Extortion

Kitagwenda district Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Nicholas Nuwagira has issued a stern warning that individuals involved in the extortion of Parish Development Model (PDM) funds will face arrest. In an exclusive interview, Nuwagira highlighted ongoing scandals related to the misuse of PDM funds in the district revealing that some arrests have already been made.

The RDC announced plans to tour the district and evaluate the effectiveness of the PDM program. He urged all PDM officials to diligently fulfill their responsibilities or consider stepping down from their positions.

Nuwagira emphasized the importance of beneficiaries effectively utilizing the funds to genuinely improve living standards in the community.
