
Maternity Ward Commissioned at Gayaza Health Center III
Leaders and the technical team from the Ministry of Health commissioned a new maternity ward at Gayaza Health Center III in Bageza Subcounty, Kasambya County. The facility, valued at UGX 614,371,776, includes a pediatric ward, male and female wards as well as modern sanitation facilities.
The event was attended by key officials including the Deputy Resident District Commissioner(RDC) Mr. Abubakar Birungi, Kasambya County MP Hon. David Kabanda and the Woman MP for Mubende District Hon. Hope Grania Nakazibwe, as well as the LCV Chairman Hon. Michael Muhereza Ntambi.
Birungi highlighted the government’s commitment to improving health and education sectors through increased funding.
Hon. Nakazibwe expressed gratitude for the government’s efforts and emphasized the responsibility of leaders to advocate for the voiceless while urging the community to halt environmental degradation.
LC V Chairman Hon. Ntambi thanked the Members of Parliament for their collaborative efforts on behalf of the Bageza community, urging residents not to be swayed by rumors from electoral candidates.
Kasambya County MP Hon. David Kabanda commended the government and the Patriotic League of Uganda for their leadership assuring beneficiaries that they will continue to enjoy the benefits of government support. “As you know, the government rewards those who support it. Thank you for backing NRM,” Kabanda stated.
