Kazo: Journalists urged to be truthful
The Member of Parliament Kasambya Constituency in Mubende district has called upon journalists to always verify information before sharing it with the public.
Speaking as a chief guest, at the belated World Press Freedom Day celebrations held on Friday at Kazo play ground in Kazo town council, organized by Kazo Journalists Association, Kabanda appreciated the journalist and urged them to always confirm everything that they are going to give the public.

Dan Kimosho, the Member of Parliament of Kazo constituency who doubles as the patron Kazo Journalist Association also urged journalists to stick to pillars of their work in order to keep the respect that is in journalism.
Hon Jennifer Muheesi, the Kazo district woman MP, appreciated the Journalists for their good work and asked them to continue with associations for the government to easily help them.
Hon Wilson Kajwengye, the Member of Parliament, Nyabushozi constituency asked journalists to continue carrying investigations while doing their work.
Kazo district LCV chairman, Rev Samuel Mugisha Katugunda appreciated the Journalists for their good work and recognized media activists, callers on radio for their contribution in journalism.
The Mayor of Kazo Town Council, Justus Mugarura has advised fellow Kazo leaders not to lead people on baseless lies using the media.
However, the chairman Kazo journalist association Nahabwe Richard appreciated journalists for sacrificing their time to serve the country.
