Kazo: LC III Chairman closes sub-county offices over late coming of workers
Residents of Burunga Sub-county headquarters in Kazo district who have been getting services at the sub-county headquarters have spent two days with no access to any office at this place.
Following an incident that happened on Tuesday where the LC III chairman of this sub-county, Samuel Rumari closed these offices and kept the keys at the police post.
When asked about these issues, Rumari refuted the accusations and revealed that he was doing this to curb the habit of late coming of the technical officers and wanted the police to monitor their signing in at work, and district leaders to bring back the parish development model programs among other issues.
Asiimwe Rose, the secretary at the sub-county told our reporter that this has affected the ways of working as they were locked out of their offices.
Al-Hajji Mawiya Lule, the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Kazo district who intervened in the matter noted that the chairman was doing the right thing but doing it in the wrong way and asked him to follow the right procedures to have the technical workers apprehended.
