Teacher trainee impregnates 24 girls, headmistress and four female teachers

A teacher trainee who has been doing his mandatory teaching practice is undergoing investigation on allegations of impregnating 24 students, four female teachers and the headmistress.
It is reported that the teacher trainee was doing Teaching Practice in one of the Basic Schools in the Asokore Mampong Municipality in Ashanti Region, in Ghana where he impregnated 24 of his learners, four female teachers and the headmistress in addition.
The trainee was nabbed after his relationship with the headmistress went public.
It is alleged that the teacher trainee is a level 400 student-teacher from a popular College of Education in the Western Region of Ghana.
The Asokore Mampong Municipal Police Command are said to have arrested the said trainee to assist in investigations, after a report was made to them.
Ghana Education Service and Ghana Tertiary Education Commission, GTEC rules on Teaching Practice, prohibit student-teachers from misconducting themselves in ways that do not augur well for the smooth running of schools.
To this end, manuals such as Supported Teaching in Schools, National Teaching Council Teacher Engagement, and National Teaching Standards were among others developed to guide their Practice.
