Government asked to support village schools with laboratory equipment
Government has been asked to always support village government aided schools with enough laboratory equipment to enable them perform well in science subjects and art subjects.
This call was made by Ayebare Moses, the Director New High school-Bukiiro in Mbarara district while awarding gifts to the best five performing students in 0- level exams 2022.
Ayebare said that the school receives little funds every financial year yet they need to develop the school and become the model school in the district.
While awarding the best performing students with Mattresses and books to enable them continue their studies, Nasasira John, an OB at New High school 2014 working with the Uganda National meteorological authority, called upon students to always focus on books first if they want to get good grades in their exams.
