Kazo: 57 year old man found dead in his rented house
Police in Kazo are investigating the circumstances under which a 57 year old man was found dead at his rented house.
The deceased has been identified as Mucunguzi Vianny alias Makanika wa masiimu na radio, who migrated from Bunyaruguru in Rubirizi District, and has been working in Kazo I cell, Kazo central ward, Kazo Town council, Kazo district for more than 10 years.
Mucunguzi has reportedly been living with health conditions including hypertension and heart problems but stopped taking drugs as prescribed by the medical doctor.
One of the witnesses, Agaba Julius intimated to our reporter that the deceased collapsed and died as he was coming from fetching water in the morning.
Issa Makumbi, the Kazo Town council LCV councillor; expressed his grief over the loss of the business man with hand skills in the community saying the deceased served as an example in the area.
Makumbi asked every one with complicated health conditions to not only always stick themselves on prayers but also follow doctor’s advice.
The police from Kazo police station led by the OCID, Twesigye Hamdan visited the scene and retrieved the body and took it to Kazo Health Centre IV for Postmortem examination.
The incident was registered under file No. SD REF 25/10/10/2022 and investigations into the matter continue.
