Kitagwenda: Best Performing Emyooga SACCOs receive UGX 100m

The best performing Emyooga SACCOs in Kitagwenda district have received additional funds as recognition and reward for performing well.

Fred Musinguzi, the Kitagwenda district senior commercial officer who doubles as the focal person for Emyooga project in the district revealed to our reporter that the district was asked
to submit five best performing Emyooga SACCOs to be given an additional fund of UGX 20 million to each SACCO.



Musinguzi said that the SACCOs that have been rewarded include; Market vendors, Women entrepreneurs, Fishermen, PWDs and Produce Emyooga SACCOs.



He urged the other SACCOs that have lagged behind to put in more effort in order to be considered and rewarded.
