Jubilee Sacco customers urged to avoid overspending during Christmas
Jubilee Sacco West Ankole diocese has given out Christmas package to its customers as corporate social responsibility.
While giving out hampers and gifts to winners on Wednesday, Kenneth Matsiko, the general manager Jubilee Sacco West Ankole diocese revealed that to enter in this draw, one was required to buy shares from UGX 50,000 and above and this was targeting to strengthen the share capital base.
Jonas Tumwine, the chairman board of directors urged members to desist from hatred, selfishness among other barriers that prevent them from benefiting from the birth of Jesus.
Tumwine asked the beneficiaries to use this Christmas to cleanse themselves with emphasis on loving one another and unity noting that Jesus was born in order to bring peace and harmony with others in our respective communities.
He added that the aim of this package is to appreciate members for their contribution towards the Sacco’s growth through saving and credit schemes.
Matsiko urged members to continue saving and avoid over spending in this festive season as school fees payment will be coming in January.
Matsiko noted that each participant won him or herself prizes including goats, hens, televisions among others.
