West Ankole Diocesan Secretary dropped in new reshuffle
The bishop of West Ankole diocese Rt Rev Johnson Twinomujuni has made a reshuffle in his diocesan administration dropping the diocesan secretary Didas Natweta. During the Diocesan Council meeting held at Bweranyangi on Monday, the Bishop announced that Ven Rev Can. Bethel Namara from Greater Bushenyi Archdeaconry would move to Bishop’s office as Acting Diocesan Secretary and Rev. Didas Natweta from Bishop’s office would be transferred to Greater Bushenyi Archdeaconry as Archdeacon. |
He also transferred Rev Joab Akandinda from Katerera Archdeaconry to Rugando Archdeaconry, Rev Meshach Kibeherere from Mashonga Parish to Katerera Archdeaconry as Archdeacon, Rev. Edson Rukundo from Butsibo Parish to Bishop’s Office as Lands and Estates officer and Rev. Keneth Mujinya who had been in this office to Mashonga as Parish priest among others. In the same meeting, Runyinya, Rwagasha and Rwatukwire sub parishes have been approved and elevated to a parish level on condition that they each first submit a land title to the Diocesan Secretary before getting letters of award. Marvin Baryaruha, the Diocesan Chancellor Counsel appreciated the Bishop for his exemplary leadership and assured the Council that there isn’t any legal liability against the Diocese. |
