53 year old man murdered in Bushenyi
Police in Bushenyi are investigating circumstances under which a 53 year old man was murdered in cold blood.
Marcial Tumusiime, the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as Bernard Byaruhanga, a resident of Kashekye cell, Bunyarigi ward, central division in Bushenyi-Ishaka municipality.
Tumusiime added that the murder of Byaruhanga who was a business man in Kashekye trading center happened on Thursday at around 9:00PM.
He said during the attack, Tusasiirwe Dinanvence, 48, the wife to the deceased was also injured and is currently admitted at Kampala International Teaching Hospital in Ishaka.
Kanyamunyu Deograsous, the area chairman said at the time this unfortunate incident happened, him and other village members were still at Bunyarigi trading center when the deceased wife came running with an injured arm saying that her husband had been killed.
Tumusiime said they rushed to scene of crime and found the deceased in a pool of blood and was taken to KIU in Ishaka where he pronounced dead on arrival.
